Off Boat Storage

Deben Boatyard offers secure, off-boat dry storage for sails, cushions and other equipment, providing a clean, protected environment that helps prevent damp, corrosion and deterioration.

Our purpose-built lockers are housed within a secure shipping container and are heated and dehumidified, creating ideal conditions for storing sensitive equipment. Standard lockers measure approximately 1 m × 1 m × 0.8 m, making them suitable for sails, cushions, canvas covers and marine equipment.

Removing equipment from the boat helps dry the interior, reduce mould and mildew, and extend the life of valuable gear while keeping everything safe and accessible on site.
