Rigging & Spar Making
Deben Boatyard has been rigging vessels for over 30 years, delivering safe, reliable solutions using high-quality materials from trusted manufacturers including Stalok, Hasselfors, Navtec and BSI.
All rigging work is carried out in our purpose-built 60-foot rigging loft, equipped with modern machinery and tools to ensure accuracy, consistency and the highest standards of workmanship. This dedicated facility allows us to undertake projects ranging from routine rig inspections to complete re-rigs. We offer both mobile and on-site services.
We also build new wooden masts, both solid and hollow, and carry out repairs to existing wooden spars. In addition, we are fully equipped to handle aluminium masts from bare sections through to completion, including standing and running rigging, lighting and onboard instrumentation. Our team is also experienced in the finishing and fitting of carbon poles, booms and masts.
Alongside marine projects, we also undertake marine and architectural rigging, applying the same attention to detail and safety standards across all work.
